Coca Cola review in Miami, Florida: Coke sells new formula as if it were regular coke

I am pissed because I buy coke cans from machines or restaurants and it is the LOW SODIUM formula, it barely says that but it tastes different and no one seems to notice and they don't give you your money back! IT Is DECEPTIVE! tell me it is different and I won't put my money, that is all! I wrote to coke and of course no one will ever answer or care and I cannot find a general complaint on the net, I don't understand why because more people should be noticing it and disliking it I think!

Coca Cola review in Williamston, North Carolina: Emotional exploitation with pseudo environmentalism

Coca Cola currently runs a campaign promoting the sale of its products by telling the consumer that if he buys the product a small contribution will be made by Coca Cola to save the polar bears. What's wrong with this is the implicit assertion that the polar bears are in need of being saved. As most people who are informed about this topic know by now the polar bears were never in danger. The story of the marooned polar bear on the melting iceberg was a joke by an Australian journalist and not even intended to have any envirommental implications. The 22 known polar bear populations that currently exists have always been in good shape and have been multiplying. Except one. That one population had been diminishing in numbers. However, not because it was too warm but it was too cold! Since 1998 the earth atmosphere has been consistently cooling. It may habe been colling earlier but earlier climatology relied on surface data derived from mainly US weather station which have been demonstrated to have been compromised. What advocats of man made global warming touted as a rise in atmospheric temperatures was mainly the effect of urbanization messing up the data produced by the weather stations. Much like the issue of man made global warming the demise of the polar bears is a man made fabrication produced by groups who would like to make us believe that we are about to ruin planet earth and must therefore accept far reaching controls of our economies, our societies, and our lives under global governance and to *** with freedom and American Constitution. That Coca Cola is now also hopping on this bandwaggon of global deceipt is not only embarrassingly late (because the fraud of the entire green scheme is unravelling) but it is also dishonest, because this promotion uses the empathy and feelings of guilt of the least well informed on the consumer population to make them buy the Coca Cola product. I like most Coca Cola products and I have always preferred Coke over Pepsi. But I will not consume any of your products from now on until you stop this deceiptful and dishonest disinformation campaign about the polar bears. I will also tell as many other people about this as I can. I look forward to your response. Florian Deltgen, PhD, PD fdeltgen@hotmail.com 252 217 6298

I just read this and thought the same. Not clever to post personal details.

I just reached for my last diet coke from the 12 pack and, lo and behold, it was empty. I thought I was being punked for a minute :grin .

I will keep the empty can for posterity lol.

Coca Cola review in Little Rock, Arkansas: Beware of foreign material in Coke Cola cans!

5-2011 Beware of coke cola canned drinks. I found slimy tissue material in two canned cola drinks, both distributed from the Little Rock, AR, plant. It appeared to be a skin-like tissue with a gray upper part fading to a beige lower part & had what appeared to be a blood spot in the center! I sent the specimen to Texas A&M for analysis. Their findings stated that the material was from a live bacteria, possibly plant, but not ruling out other. I asked the rep at Coke Cola if they'd refund my money for having their product tested, that I wasn't looking for an atty., just knowledge of what & why I had slimey skin-type objects in two different coke cola cans. She offered me cola coupons, like I'm still drinking Coke Cola! She stated that Coke Cola has integrity; yeah, as they take your money!! Worst of all, they don't care about their consumers.

sue for mental damages and also for the cost of the analysis. get a shyster attorney and discuss with him.

he will take 1/3 of any award. The people at Coca cola are trained to be nice and polite and not say anything to admit guilt, etc. the first thing they try to do is buy you off with coupons. then they sit and wait to see what you will do next.

Sue them. that's the american way.

Coca Cola review in Bengaluru, Karnataka: Regarding expiry product

Dear Authority, I have purchased 1bottle of "Minute Maid (Pulpy Orange)" from 1outlet which was of January manufacture and supposed to be expired in the End of the March. I bought it in 3rd week of April.(Thaltej Area in Ahmedabad, Gujarat) I consumed and after some time i was suffering from low stomach pain. I told him to dispose all the stock which you have but he denied. After 2 hours I send my Colleague to buy the same and again he sold out "Expiry" Product. So Finally I have decide to report the Circle Incharge and the Sales Head , one of them was ready to meet me and sort out the problem and ready to pay me damages which I have suffered but after some time I didnt get any answer from there side.

Coca Cola review in Nashville, Tennessee: Coca-cola vendor

well...i was trying to got a yummy delicious sprite but it gave me mountain dew. Not only that... but it was mountain dew in a sprite can. I was very frustrated because i am very ill now from an allergic reaction from it. Please notify someone about this terrible miss hap that seems to be making me swell and sneeze before i press charges on the disgusting people who made this. And one more thing... I also want something done about the cleanliness of the vending machine also. The dirt grime and mold sorta worries me in some circumstances... like when I'm drinking out of the can (most people do). So in conclusion could someone please do something about this terrible thing we call good.

Coca Cola review in Bellevue, Nebraska: What the heck have they done to Coke?!

I 'was' a Coca-holic all my life. I drank it 24 hours a day. Now the it tastes so bad, it's undrinkable. I can't identify the odd taste. It tasted flat and watered down in a newly opened can. I know they switched from sugar to HFCS. Remember when McDonald's had the best Coke ever? No more! Even tho' Pepsi has never been as good, I have since switched to it. Oh, I heard that the Coke bottled in Mexico is made with sugar, and is better. Not true ~ and it costs $1.00 a bottle!

Coke replaced the real sugar with something cheaper called corn syrup.

I work QC for coke and know for a fact that the recipe hasn't changed and there is no coke coming to the states from china, thats just ignorance who would pay to ship that over the ocean, its simply a syrup with purified water and carbonation

I called them - twice. They claim nothing has changed but it has.

Little by little they changed the original formula. This latest batch (which may be made in China) is the worst. Of course they claim I'm the only one that called about it. HA.

They offered coupons but why would I want to replace something that is terrible? Coke has finally fizzed out - - -

Ive noticed recently coke is tasting like *** as well... something is different...

it goes flat very very quickly once opened and tastes so bad i cant even finish the can.. The first time i noticed this was at a discount grocery store that sells stuff much cheaper with no name brands etc but they did have coke.. i just assumed it must have been a bad batchs and is how they were so cheap... then i went back to kroger where i normally shop and while one case would taste ok, a week later i'd get the same case and it just tastes horrible...

Ive had several of these *** cases recently and im just about to switch to something else...

glad its not just me thinking something is going on.. The cans i have in the house right now that taste like *** were canned in atlanta Ga.

As of september 2010 the coke coming out of the Needham, Massachusetts plant tastes terrible. There is an odd after taste....like they changed the sweetner.

After drinking 5 cans a day for 40 years I think I know what I am talking about. I contacted the plant and the Atlanta office but never got a reply.

I hate pepsi but it now tastes better than coke. I buy only Pepsi now

Ladybug,

I have to disagree with you about Mexican-bottled Coca-Cola. In my opinion, it tastes much better. It tastes just like the Coke I used to drink back in the 70's. I wouldn't touch Coke after the new Coke fiasco back in '85. I can finally drink it again. Yes, it's expensive. But it's a nice treat once in a while.

I completely agree with you on everything else though. You are dead on about the odd, flat taste. It tastes more like Tab now than Coke.

Coca Cola review in Reston, Virginia: Coca-Cola changed in early 1980's

In the early 1980's, bottlers were given permission to use High Fructose Corn syrup in place of sugar. (to save money) HFCS has unacceptable levels of mercury that the FDA has done absolutely nothing about in reference to warning the public. This is a public relations disaster waiting to happen. If you complain to Corporate you will be told by letter that "the taste quality of HFCS and sucrose is identical" This is TOTALLY untrue. I would like to meet the *** that made this ridiculous statement. Coca-Cola has been my favorite soft drink for 50 years. Since I started importing it I am now enjoying the REAL Coca-Cola and the difference is worth the import fees. The U.S. is the only country that uses HFCS 100%.
